OZCF Soup Workshop

One misty Saturday morning in Autumn we gathered under the pergola at Oranjezicht City Farm to talk soup. Though the steaming pots of soup were where we started the conversation, it was ultimately about sharing core techniques for building and developing flavour and working with produce as it changes through the colder seasons – right in the very garden where the veggies are grown.

Oranjezicht City Farm does an excellent job of growing the ingredients; what we aim to do is make a practical connection between what comes out the ground and what to do with it.
